Wu Yu, an Alumna of Our University, Wins Gold Medal in Women’s Boxing 50kg at the Paris Olympics

On August 10, the women’s boxing 50kg final of the Paris Olympics was held at the North Paris Arena. China’s Wu Yu defeated Buse Naz Cakiroglu of Türkiye via a split decision (4-1) to win the gold medal. Wu Yu, who majored in sports training, graduated from our university in 2022. This is the second gold medal won by our graduates at the Paris Olympics.
